60 Second Documentary
I decided to film and edit a documentary based on my experience with the online gaming community. I started playing video games at the peak of COVID-19 and ever since, I've met a lot of people and gained a lot of friends! I believe especially because the gaming industry can get a bad rep and can seem intimidating, this documentary can help make it seem more approachable and highlight the positive parts of the gaming community.

This is my first time using Adobe Rush to edit video and audio and I found it very easy to use. Because I have some past experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, it felt much simpler to use Rush, but I also noticed the drawbacks and how sometimes I wished there were more tools to further enhance the editing process. I thought this was a really fun project and I think because it is a shorter project (60 sec), it forced me to consider the type of shots I was taking and the story I wanted to tell.
Travel Promo Video Edit
For this project, I was provided with a classmate's A/V script and was tasked to be their editor and help their vision come to life!

We were provided with pre-filmed b-roll and interview clips and tasked with creating a travel promo video for the company, 'P.S. Italy Tours'. This was a really fun project where we got to collaborate with each other.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro to edit this video and it was exciting to see all the clips and audio come together and to follow the provided script. Premiere Pro is definitely more challenging than Rush, but I enjoyed being able to use more features and effects to help make this video come together.

Corporate Video Production
For this project, I was both the producer and the editor! I am someone who usually prefers editing over filming, so this project definitely pushed me to be a better creator.

I interviewed James Giordano, a multimedia producer who has experience producing and editing content of his own. After filming our interview, I filmed b-roll of James and even asked for clips of his previous work to help bring this video to life. This video was editing on Adobe Premiere Pro. For this project, I wanted to play around with audio and tried layering audio to create different effects and used different background music to help with the flow of the video. I wanted to make sure that there was a good narrative that was easy to follow from the audience's POV.

This was a terrific project that I am very proud of, and I hope to continue to work on bigger projects like this in the future!
